A resort twenty minutes from Copenhagen.
Rox Resort opened on the shore just outside the centre in November 2025, on the beach north of Køge Marina, and the hotel says Travel + Leisure has already counted it among the world’s best new hotels. 154 rooms including six suites, 114 of them looking straight at the sea, all with balconies — up to the 80 m² Signature Suite with four of them. The interiors, designed in-house, borrow from early-20th-century travel.
The Pool Club has three heated pools, two on the roof and one at ground level, with sauna and gym; padel, tennis and a private beach outside; day passes for those not staying. SMITH is the brasserie, the Birdcage the cocktail bar, and the Regent Halls take 200 for a conference. For the first birthday: a One Year Celebration from 995 DKK a person; Nordic Noir julefrokost and a New Year’s Eve package in the season.
