Smaller plates, a bigger evening.

Odd-Fellowgaarden is where Køge holds its weddings, confirmations, meetings and memorial gatherings — a party house with banqueting rooms, a bar and food to take home. About fourteen years ago a small restaurant opened in its cellar, and it became the bistro: the dishes made smaller “so the experience can become bigger”, the menu changing with what is fresh, bread and ice cream made in the house, a short wine list.

The house says it is not gourmet, and means it: no long story about where the carrot grew, just what you need to know while the plate is still warm. Order three to five dishes and share. From spring — just after Easter or at the start of May — to the end of the summer half-year the courtyard opens: covered, warmed by heat lamps, eighteen seats close together among the herbs, with French music. Entrance from Jernbanegade.
